Determine Eligibility :

Check if you're eligible to apply for a Canadian work permit based on the type of job you’ll be doing and your qualifications.

Job Offer :

Secure a valid job offer from a Canadian employer. In some cases, your employer may need to provide a Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

Employer Compliance :

Ensure your employer meets all regulations and requirements related to hiring foreign workers.

Gather Documents :

Collect the required documents, including your passport, job offer letter, LMIA (if applicable), proof of qualifications, and any additional supporting materials.

Submit Application :

Submit your work permit application either online or by mail to the appropriate Canadian visa office or Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Biometrics and Medical Exam :

Complete any necessary biometrics appointments and undergo a medical exam if required.

Wait for Processing :

Wait for your application to be processed. Processing times can vary based on the work permit type and the current workload of immigration authorities.

Receive Approval :

Once approved, travel to Canada with your work permit and supporting documents.

Start Working :

Upon arrival, present your work permit at the port of entry and begin working for your employer as outlined in the work permit conditions.
